The Safety Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the overall operations of production, ensuring the safety and security of everyone, and enforcing strict regulations and protocols with the goal to maintain a safe work environment.


  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures;
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards;
  • Train employees on safety protocols and best practices;
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, providing recommendations for improvement;
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations;
  • Keep up-to-date with industry safety trends and regulations.

skills & competencies:

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards;
  • Strong communication and leadership skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to train and motivate others;
  • Eye for detail;
  • Operations monitoring and analysis. 

education & qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field;
  • Proven experience as a Safety Officer, with specific experience in a cement plant environment;
  • Certification in safety management (e.g. NEBOSH) is a plus.
