Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring sales performance, and providing guidance and support to the sales team.


Main Responsibilities:


  • To develop and strengthen current business lines and develop new business opportunities / lines to improve the Company’s market position and drive financial growth.
  • To drive general business development activities.
  • To develop customer network in furtherance of the Company’s capabilities, identifying potential leads and opportunities, and establishing client relationships.
  • Continually monitor and profile the relevant market(s) to report on customer, competitor and supplier developments, maintaining a strong focus on asserting technical and commercial differentiation.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of the Company’s market, key market drivers and competitor position within identified markets.
  • Maintain a strong network of customers and associated industry contacts – participate in tradeshows and other industry social events as required.
  • Maintain existing client relationships, presenting new products and services, participating in internal and external client briefings and by working alongside the Operations and Projects departments in the support of live jobs.
  • Analyse market trends, competitive offerings and prospect needs and report and provide feedback to the Senior Management Team.
  • Develop, plan and co-ordinate sales opportunities to enable the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.
  • Maintain, manage and further develop the Company’s CRM module for all identified clients, opportunities and enquiries.
