Senior Accountant - Russian Speaker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant who is fluent in Russian and possesses comprehensive knowledge of VAT submission to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance within our real estate development operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
2. VAT Compliance: Manage all aspects of VAT compliance, including timely submission of VAT returns, ensuring adherence to VAT regulations, and resolving any related issues.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to support effective financial planning and decision-making processes.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
5. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions and account balances.
6. Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insights into the company's financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and support strategic decision-making.
7. Audit Preparation: Assist in the coordination and preparation of financial audits, liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation and support as required.
8. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
9. Communication: Effectively communicate financial information and insights to management, stakeholders, and other relevant parties in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
2. Fluency in Russian and English languages is essential, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
3. Proven experience in accounting roles within the real estate development industry, preferably in Dubai or the UAE market.
4. In-depth knowledge of VAT regulations and experience in VAT submission and compliance in the UAE.
5. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms. Advanced Excel skills are also required.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments and levels of the organization.
