Senior IT Project Manager

·Institutionalize a pragmatic approach to IT project portfolio management on a group level supporting the regional management team and General Managers in decision-making and driving execution of IT projects of different scale

·Responsible for shaping and balancing the necessary resource plan needed to deliver the IT projects within the portfolio

·Responsible for identifying and managing complex interdependencies between projects in the portfolio, if any

·Update and provide regular overall status updates on achievements, risks, and actions required for the IT projects within the portfolio

·For assigned IT projects, accountable for defining project approach, scope, critical path, and planning, to ensure achieving deliverables within agreed timelines

·Accountable for the management and delivery of IT projects on time, with quality, and within the approved budget

·Recognising and mitigating IT project risks, resolving issues, and pro-actively managing any corrective actions or change requests throughout the lifetime of the project

·Liaise with risk and compliance functions to ensure that solutions meet MedNet and Munich Re’s regulatory and control requirements

·Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Mathematics, or Business Administration

·At least, 10 years of experience in a similar role (the insurance industry is not a must)

·Sound experience in operations and IT project management (Project Management qualifications – PRINCE, APM, PMP are an advantage)

·Process improvement training and experience are an advantage

·Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially profound experience in developing PowerPoint Presentations, MS Projects, and MS Excel

       Fluent in business English (verbal and written skills)
