Senior, Network Administrator

We are looking for a SeniorNetwork Administrator to join our technology team at (BUNA) The Arab Regional Payments Clearing and Settlement Organization.

Job Responsibilities:

Security Design and Development

·      Develop and configure new systems within cloud and physical infrastructure.

·      Participate in the design of security centric network and infrastructure solutions.

·      Ensure technical solution/design alignment with established security policies.

·      Secure network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation, and maintain documentation.

·      Maintain security baseline requirements for all IT systems.

Network Maintenance and Improvement

·      Maintain existing software and hardware and manage all required upgrades.

·      Install, configure, and test infrastructure and network equipment and establish / maintain network connections as per requirements and specifications.

·      Implement disaster recovery to minimize downtime and ensure network resilience in case of failures or disruptions. Perform advanced programming system automation through scripting.

Performance Management and Quality Assurance

·      Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting network problems, and escalating problems to vendors.

·      Tune infrastructure performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure with a focus on industry best practices.

·      Participate in the exploration of new technologies and proof-of-concepts.

·      Recommend, review, and implement new technology solutions.

Network Support

·      Provide day-to-day 2nd and 3rd level engineering support to the operations team.

·      Lead problem management and regular troubleshooting efforts in resolving infrastructure issues.

·      Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software maintenance, and support.

Operational Management

·      Create and maintain documentation. Perform daily IT tasks as assigned.

·      Coordinate with vendors to develop, test, evaluate, and install new hardware and software in addition to upgrades.

·      Manage multiple vendors in the overall implementation of infrastructure projects.

·      Develop and implement appropriate policies and standard operating procedures aligned to established policies and frameworks.

·      Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools, prioritizing monitoring, alerting, and routing of alerts for infrastructure and services.

·      Ensure adherence to availability requirements in contractual SLAs.

·      Participate in the procurement processes of infrastructure products and services.
