Job Description

The Project Manager shall be accountable for Projects from inception to completion and shall be responsible for effectively delivering outcomes that meet the objectives of Miral Experiences and its critical stakeholders. Your responsibilities will also include: 


  • Define, implement and resource the appropriate organization structure to ensure outstanding service levels considering cost efficiency for each new project or program
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders in addition to third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure operational readiness for all projects; on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical and operational feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Ensure operators’s effectiveness in developing, managing, and maintaining appropriate operational standards and quality assurance processes. 
  • Establishing and implement controls and risk management targeted at increasing operational/cost efficiency, 
  • Improve/standardize operational readiness delivery methodologies for all internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Promote and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety & Environmental Management and ethical employment and treatment of internal and contracted workforce. 
  • Work closely with business partners to maximize uptime, minimize disturbance to operations and ensure business continuity. 
  • Contribute to annual strategy plans relating to projects within the organization’s overall operating strategy. 
  • Maintain contractual records and documentation and control of all contract correspondence, information sheets, status reports and other documents for all activity streams related to operational technology.
  • Monitor contractors’ compliance with established procedures, fair labor standards and general welfare, identifying areas of risk / breach applying appropriate corrective actions in remedy.
  • Undertake several Project Management Activities for projects within the department including but not limited to scope development, implementation strategies, BOQs, Tender Reports, Weekly Project Status reports, Financial Performance, project completion reports and Lessons Learned.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have: 


  • Bachelors degree in an Engineering (electro/mechanical/civil/architecture discipline)
  • Project Management Certification
  • At least 5 years’ experience within the project management, maintenance and operations of a leisure facility (Theme park or Waterpark)
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in contract management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Able to work independently 
  • Excellent guest services skills
  • Excellent decisions making skills
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful situations
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect and observe company protocols 
  • Computer skills, able to prepare reports in excel, presentations in power point 
  • Financial skills and knowledge (P&L)
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills

Desirable:


  • Post graduate continuous training and development
  • 7 years of experience leading teams within a theme park, hospitality or security preferred
  • Previous experience in project management of theme parks, water parks and attractions.
  • Advanced financial skills (P&L) and ability to prepare and manage a budget
  • Develop team for social and cultural events 
  • Ability to speak additional languages
