MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To desgin and deliver enterprise-grade solutions, hands-on experience with airline-specific systems, and the ability to manage business stakeholder expectations effectively ensuring seamless collaboration between technical teams and business units.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leads the architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise applications using the .NET framework and .NET Core.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Leverages expertise in the airline domain, including systems like Passenger Service Systems (PSS), reservation, ticketing, and loyalty management. Ensure technical solutions are compliant with IATA standards and tailored to airline-specific workflows.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Designs and implements scalable, high-performance applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related technologies. Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
  • Identifies opportunities for leveraging advanced .NET features, tools, and frameworks to enhance airline systems.
  • Manages technical projects, including planning, execution, and risk management, to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and product management.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Communicates technical solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations around project timelines and deliverables.
  • Works on application modernization and cloud migration projects (e.g., Azure, AWS).

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • Degree should be in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Fluent in English
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development, including ASP.NET, .NET Core, and C#. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles. Hands-on experience with Azure or other cloud platforms for deployment and monitoring of .NET applications. Proven ability to engage with business stakeholders, gather and analyze requirements, and provide tailored technical solutions. Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business units.
  • Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus. Extensive experience working with airline systems like PSS, reservation systems, fare filing, and inventory management. Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, MongoDB). Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with airline-specific processes, loyalty programs, and integration with GDS systems.
