Shuttering Carpenter

We are currently seeking experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in constructing and dismantling form works for concrete structures. This role demands precision, physical strength, and a deep understanding of construction processes to ensure the safety and durability of the structures.

• Measure, cut, and assemble the shuttering frames used for pouring concrete.
  
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings to determine the size and shape of the shuttering needed.
  
• Inspect the constructed forms to ensure they are accurately assembled and non-defective.
  
• Erect and dismantle all types of shuttering and scaffolding as required for various concrete structures and foundations.
  
• Apply waterproofing and release agents to shuttering to ensure the smooth release of concrete.
  
• Work closely with other construction team members, including steel fixers and concrete workers, to ensure that the form-work is correctly positioned and secured.
  
• Perform maintenance and repair on form-work materials to ensure their longevity and reuse.
  
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on the construction site.
  

• Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter, preferably in the UAE construction sector.
  
• Basic education or vocational training in carpentry or a related field.
  
• Knowledge of different types of form-work systems and materials used in shuttering.
  
  

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  
• Excellent physical condition and endurance to perform labor-intensive tasks.
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  

• Willingness to work in various weather and at heights.
  
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
  
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required by project deadlines.
