Job Description

Job PurposeTo design, implement, and maintain the company’s core network infrastructure and ensure that all network hardware and software are up to date and functioning properly for highest availability and accessibility performance.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign, installation and configuration of LAN and WAN infrastructure in Data Centre and corporate officesConfiguration management and change control of core network infrastructure including routers, switches, Packet Shapers, Firewalls and IDS/IPSCreate and assign routing protocols and routing table configurationsManage all aspects of network security, including load balancers and firewallsAdministration of switches, configuration of firewalls, set-up of VPN connectionsManage all physical and logical voice and data network planning and designAnalyse network performance records to ensure maximum availabilityAdministration and configuration of Wireless LAN networkAdministration and configuration of Voice Gateways and IP Telephony systemsAdministration of all communication lines performance, including Digital Internet, MPLS, PRI, Leased LinesManage the backup of all network configurations and data as per company policiesProvide Level II support to all network related issues at remote locations, and act as escalation resource for Level I supportPerformin-depth diagnostics, resolving problems, escalating problems to vendors as required, working with other ICTSteam members, and taking appropriate actions to assure appropriate and prompt solutions to network related problemsRespond to after-hours emergencies, lead the mitigation and resolution processes of network performance and securityParticipate in disaster recovery planning and periodic exercisesConduct testing of network design and failoverCreate, maintain, and update the necessary documentation on network topologies and implemented network solutionsLeads efforts to pilot new networking technologies to support and improve business processesTechnical CompetenciesEducational Qualification:Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineer, Computer Information System, or any relevant degreeProfessional Certifications:CCNP, CCIE, FCP(or FCX), ITIL are a must.Knowledge in Aviation information systems/knowledge in Airport IT systems /CNS Equipment’swill be an addedvalue.Experience:Minimum 6+yearsof experience in a similar post related to networking administration or engineeringSpecial Technical Skills:Solid experience in configuring LAN and WAN systems for networking.Solid experience in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 & Layer 3 switches (Cisco / Fortinet) Solid experience in configuring and troubleshooting Fortinet firewalls.Solid experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco firewalls.Experience in configuring Secure Wireless Access Points (Fortinet or Cisco)Experience in Cisco Unified Call ManagerExperience in professional networking documentation.Strong IP troubleshooting skillsStrong experience in Routing ProtocolsKnowledge in Network Access Control solutionsKnowledge in PAM solutionsKnowledge in access control systems including CCTV is an added value.Knowledge in Aviation/Air Traffic Management/CNS Systems is an added value.
