About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and performance-driven Stock Trader to execute equity trading strategies across global financial markets. The role involves analyzing market trends, managing trading portfolios, identifying investment opportunities, and executing trades while maintaining effective risk management practices to maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities Trading & Market Execution

• Execute buy and sell orders for equities and other financial instruments across global markets.
• Monitor live market conditions and make informed trading decisions based on market movements.
• Develop and implement short-term and long-term trading strategies.
• Ensure timely execution of trades while minimizing transaction costs and market impact.

Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct fundamental and technical analysis of stocks, sectors, and financial markets.
• Monitor economic indicators, corporate earnings, geopolitical events, and market news.
• Identify profitable trading opportunities through market research and data analysis.
• Prepare daily market outlooks and trading recommendations.

Portfolio Management

• Manage assigned trading portfolios while optimizing risk-adjusted returns.
• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend adjustments based on market conditions.
• Diversify investments across sectors and asset classes where appropriate.
• Maintain disciplined portfolio allocation in line with investment strategies.

Risk Management

• Implement effective risk management strategies to protect trading capital.
• Monitor market exposure, stop-loss levels, and position sizing.
• Ensure compliance with internal trading policies and risk limits.
• Evaluate trading risks and recommend mitigation measures.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track trading performance, profitability, and key performance indicators.
• Maintain accurate records of executed trades and portfolio activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports for management.
• Analyze trading results and continuously refine trading strategies.

Compliance & Regulatory Adherence

• Ensure all trading activities comply with applicable financial regulations and company policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of trading information and client data.
• Stay updated on changes in financial market regulations and trading practices.
• Support internal audits and compliance reviews when required.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with research analysts, portfolio managers, and investment teams.
• Share market insights and contribute to investment strategy discussions.
• Stay informed about new trading technologies, platforms, and financial products.
• Continuously enhance trading techniques through ongoing market research and professional development.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CMT, FRM, or equivalent are an advantage.
• 3–8 years of experience in stock trading, equity trading, investment management, or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of global equity markets, trading platforms, technical analysis, and portfolio management.
• Experience trading international markets is highly preferred.
