The Opportunity

Marsh is seeking aSummer Intern (AI, Data Science)to join a fast-paced, innovation-focused team working on real business challenges across a global organization. This internship offers hands-on exposure to AI products and practical data science initiatives, with opportunities to build prototypes, support pilots, and help enable colleagues through training and materials.

Key Responsibilities (What We Will Count on You For)

• Demonstrate strongproblem-solvingcapability by understanding business requirements and exploring multiple solution approaches to deliver the desired outcome.
• Gain expertise inMarsh AI productsand support adoption by:
  • Delivering trainings to colleagues
  • Customizing tools and workflows usingLLM-based solutionswhere applicable
• Developprototypes, proof-of-concepts, and pilot programsfor high-priority opportunities.
• Develop and deliver engagingshort training sessionson AI fundamentals tailored to different audiences.
• Create accessible training materials, includingpresentations, videos, guides, and reference documents.
• Provide regular reporting onproject status, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Supportpilot implementationsof selected AI solutions, monitoring progress and gathering feedback.
• Participate in problem-solving sessions to help remove obstacles and address challenges as they arise.
• Maintain a high level ofattention to detailin deliverables and documentation.

What You Need to Have (Required)

• Familiarity withAI / machine learning concepts and applications.
• Basic data analysis experience and comfort working withExcel (or similar analytical tools).
• Experience withbusiness intelligence and/or data visualization tools.
• Intermediate capability in building tools inPython, leveraging available AI models where appropriate.
• Proficiency inMS Office(Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong communication skills; an outgoing, collaborative personality with a willingness to learn and contribute.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed anundergraduate or graduate/master’s degreein:
  • Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
