Job Summary.
As a Team Lead in Production, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our production team. You will ensure that HSE policy is adhered, production targets are met efficiently and that quality standards are upheld. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a problem solving skills.
Responsibilities :
Coordinate hourly work schedule as set by the Superintendent & planner. Provide direct oversight and lead assigned personnel in achieving schedule, productivity, quality, and training and safety targets. Ensure tools and gauges are properly maintained and stored through store, Consistently work on developing and improving department processes and methods to improve the function and operation of their respective stations. Ensure personnel are utilizing the appropriate tools for their assigned tasks. Ensure personnel are prepared for current and next work order, as specified. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. Follow all safety rules policies provided by NOV Know department safety rules, understand, and follow all company Maintain Plant Safety Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture Day-to-day activities of a team Monitor team performance and report on metrics Discover training needs and provide coaching Discover training needs and provide coaching Suggest and organize team building activities Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
Behavioral Skills
Good communication skills Trained other employees on equipment operations and safety requirements. Conduct employee training in equipment operations, Ready to handle a task and making sure that it gets completed within the allotted period. Being honest with your peers about the mistakes of an ongoing project and working on the possible solutions. Take the responsibility instead of handing it over to someone. When you see your employees struggling, it might be time to have a good chat with them. Have that one-on-one conversation to get a better understanding of what is bothering your employees
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
Essential: 7 to 10 Years work experience on machine operating with minimum 2 years’ experience on team lead role Good communication skills, Problem solving skills, Confident and Knowledgeable. Must be able to communicate in English and able to take and follow written and verbal instructions.
Desirable:
Oil & Gas experience in the manufacturing field Mechanical Engineering Degree
