Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in computer hardware, software, and networking systems, with a diploma or degree in computer science or a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will provide first-line support to our clients and internal users, ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and resolving any technical issues that arise.
Main Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including network configuration and system malfunctions.
- Provide prompt and accurate customer feedback, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including incident reports and solutions logs.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring security and efficiency.
- Train users on new systems, software, and best practices in IT security.
- Coordinate with internal departments to improve IT support processes and user satisfaction.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and advancements in computer hardware and networking.
RequirementsEssential Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in computer hardware and networking.
- In-depth understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) and network technologies.
