KONE has an excellent opportunity for Field Support Technicians (testers) to join our team in Dubai.

Responsibilities and key activities:

• Caring about safety on site by applying good safety practices.

  
  

• Manage on-site communication with the customer for day-to-day testing and commissioning activities with continuous coordination with the Field Supervisor

  
  

• Test the unit in accordance to the codes & standards to ensure it is mechanically and electrically safe, the internal and external KONE quality standards are Fulfilled, and the unit is in function according to contractual requirements.

  
  

• Commission the equipment according to agreed specifications and commissioning instructions.

  
  

• Carrying out the final inspection and signing the final inspection documents

  
  

• Perform or participate in the notified bodies or consultant inspections. Also, participate in the customer handover if necessary.

  
  

• Identify installation quality issues and deviations that require corrective action and report them to his Field Supervisor, who is responsible for all site activities.

  
  

• Actively participate in quality working groups to improve based on snag lists produced, other technical issues found during inspections, and information sharing.

  
  

• Apply lean principles to avoid interruptions at work and consistently follow and promote huddles initiatives.

  
  

Are You the One?

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

  
  

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the elevator industry (mandatory)

  
  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  
  

• Proficient in verbal and written English communication

  
  

• Basic IT skills preferred

  
  

• Candidates with a strong digital foundation are highly desirable for this position.
