Summary:
As a Traffic Management Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing traffic control systems to ensure efficient traffic flow and safety on roads, highways, and intersections.
Job Responsibility:
- Analyzing traffic patterns and data to identify areas for improvement
- Designing and implementing traffic signal timings and phasing plans
- Collaborating with transportation agencies and stakeholders to address traffic congestion issues
- Conducting traffic impact assessments for new development projects
- Monitoring and maintaining traffic management systems, such as variable message signs and traffic cameras
- Developing and implementing traffic management plans for special events or emergencies
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience in traffic engineering, signal design, and traffic impact studies
- Proficient in traffic engineering software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
