MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLETo maximize fleet value by optimizing Cost per Available Seat Kilometer (CASK), aircraft utilization, operational introduction and lifecycle performance across all operated fleets (737, 787), by managing key fleet cost drivers such as modification programs, BFE agreements, maintenance contracts, and utilization efficiency through structured SLA and KPI analysis, and ensures effective governance of contractual performance guarantees and deliverables across operational agreements, while leading operational project execution with strong cost control, disciplined oversight, operational performance and delivery within agreed timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Establishes processes for analyzing CASK at an aircraft level across all fleets, establishing a baseline cost per fleet.
- Evaluates changes to baseline costs resulting from modification programmes, system changes, network planning data and new contracts.
- Ensures that existing contracts for OEM, BFE & Maintenance Services are performing in accordance with expectations, SLAs and performance guarantees.
- Establishes structured framework for contract management over the lifecycle in order to ensure compliance against scope, ensure that objectives are clearly understood and enforce contract adherence
- Identifies risks on the CASK, resulting from operational influences, engagement with stakeholders to ensure mitigation.
- Evaluates OEM & 3rd Party changes and proposed changes to fleet and evaluate cost impact against financial expectation, ensuring that agreed business cases yield positive results.
- Provides strategic oversight for statistical analysis, data visualization, reports to stakeholders, make recommendations supported by data trends
- Oversees end-to-end ownership of operational fleet strategy across all fleet typesensuring alignment with network, operations, and commercial requirements
- Establishes definition and continuous optimization of fleet configuration strategies across all sub-fleets to support efficiency and standardization
- Ensures full lifecycle cost management including acquisition, operations, modification, and retirement cost driversin liaison with relevant stakeholders.
- Oversees management of fleet configuration complexity and retrofit and reduction of sub-fleet variation where commercially and operationally viable .
- Manages and oversight of CAPEX prioritization, benefits realization, and lifecycle value optimization across all major operational investments.
- Defines and translates fleet data into actionable decisions for strategy, investment, and operational optimization
- Consolidation of fleet governance forums, committees, and working groups into a single accountable structure
- Prioritizes and sequencing of fleet modification programs based on cost impact, operational disruption, and strategic value.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Finance or Engineering with a Master’s Degree preferable
- Fluent in English
- Extensive experience in airline operations, engineering, and fleet/technical programs, operational systems with exposure to both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft environments. Proven track record in delivering large-scale CAPEX and strategic transformation projects, including aircraft induction, retrofit programs, and IT/system implementations. Strong background in governance of multi-million-dollar portfolios, with focus on cost optimization, lifecycle value, and performance of key operational contracts. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across COO, engineering, airport operations, and external partners to ensure disciplined, on-time project delivery and business impact.
