Role Overview


As a Wellbeing Practitioner at Banyan Tree Dubai, you are responsible for delivering holistic wellness experiences that nurture guests' physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Through personalised consultations and guided wellness practices, you will help guests achieve balance, relaxation, and personal renewal in line with Banyan Tree’s wellbeing philosophy.


You are a key ambassador of the Banyan Tree brand, creating meaningful and transformative experiences through expert guidance, genuine care, and exceptional personalised service.


Key Responsibilities


Guest Wellbeing Experience


  • Welcome guests and provide personalised wellness consultations to understand their individual goals, preferences, and wellbeing needs.
  • Deliver a range of holistic wellbeing experiences, including meditation, breathwork, mindfulness, sound healing, stretching, recovery sessions, and other wellness practices offered by the resort.
  • Develop personalised wellness recommendations and programmes tailored to each guest.
  • Guide guests through safe and engaging sessions that promote relaxation, balance, and overall wellbeing.
  • Encourage healthy lifestyle practices and support guests in achieving their personal wellness objectives.

Wellness Coaching & Education


  • Provide professional advice on wellbeing, stress management, recovery, movement, and healthy living.
  • Educate guests on the benefits of holistic wellness practices and recommend suitable experiences available at the resort.
  • Promote Banyan Tree's wellbeing philosophy through meaningful guest interactions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, wellness practices, and emerging therapies to continually enhance the guest experience.

Guest Service Excellence


  • Deliver warm, attentive, and personalised service throughout every guest interaction.
  • Create a calm, welcoming, and inspiring environment that supports relaxation and rejuvenation.
  • Build genuine relationships with guests while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests and feedback.
  • Recommend appropriate wellness services, Spa treatments, and retail products where suitable.

Wellness Facilities & Operations


  • Ensure all wellness spaces, studios, and treatment areas are prepared, clean, and presented to the highest standards.
  • Maintain all wellness equipment and materials in excellent condition.
  • Monitor stock levels of wellness supplies and report replenishment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate guest records, consultation notes, and programme details where applicable.
  • Report any maintenance, safety, or operational concerns promptly.

Health, Safety & Compliance


  • Deliver all wellness sessions safely and in accordance with established standards and best practices.
  • Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
  • Identify any guest health considerations or contraindications and adapt sessions accordingly.
  • Maintain guest confidentiality and comply with all resort policies and procedures.

Teamwork & Operational Support


  • Work closely with the Spa, Fitness, Recreation, and Front Office teams to create seamless wellness experiences.
  • Support resort wellness programmes, retreats, and special events.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the Wellness department.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience


  • Previous experience as a Wellbeing Practitioner, Wellness Coach, Holistic Therapist, Yoga Instructor, Meditation Practitioner, or similar role within a luxury hotel, resort, wellness retreat, or holistic health environment preferred.
  • Recognised certification in one or more wellbeing disciplines such as yoga, meditation, breathwork, mindfulness, sound healing, holistic therapies, or wellness coaching.
  • Strong understanding of holistic wellbeing principles and guest-centred wellness practices.
  • Excellent spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional luxury wellness experiences.
