We are looking for experienced architects who can develop detailedarchitecture and transition blueprints that guide successful customer deployments, migrations, and platform transformation initiatives. Additionally,you’llcreate repeatabledeploymentblueprints that become the templates for all customer deploymentsThese will be used to develop our services practices, to enable our delivery teams, our partner teams, and our customers to deploy our secondary storage solutions applications. The ideal candidate is someone who has5+years' experienceinarchitecting, documenting, deploying, and enabling others. 



These practices willutilizethe architecture sold by our account teams to achieve customer-committed solutions. In addition to building these solutions, this role will also spend considerable timevalidatingthese procedures in the field and teaching partners and customers how to apply these in their environment.  



In this role, you will be working with engineering, systems engineers, tech marketing specialists, and customer support to build out professional services practices starting with the architectural blueprint that coversassessment, architecture design, migration planning, deployment and governance,to be used by delivery teams, partners and customers.



HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE



  • Deliver architecturedesignsand professional services to Cohesity customers




  • Lead customer transition initiatives from assessment through deployment completion, serving as technical authority for migration strategy, workloadprioritizationand execution planning.




  • Identifytechnical, operational,security,and business risks andestablishtransition plans prior to implementation. 




  • Act as a trusted advisor to customer architects, infrastructure teams, and executive stakeholders




  • Review and approve design deviations, implementationdecisionsanddeploymentreadiness milestones. 




  • Build strategic relationships with key customers and Cohesity teams




  • Collaborate with Cohesity’s product solutions, productmanagementand engineeringteamsto bridge the gap between technology capabilities and customer requirements 




  • Present architecture recommendations, deployment strategies, and technical risks toexecutiveandtechnicalstake holders




  • Engage directly with customers to understand their organization needs andidentifyhow Cohesity’s product features can best support their objectives 




  • Develop detailed solution designs including architecture diagrams, sizing specifications, integration requirements, and risk assessments.

  • Provide field feedback to Product Management and Engineering teamsregardingdeployment challenges, feature gaps, automation opportunities, and customerrequirements




  • Define technical architecture including sizing and performance that meet customer requirements




  • Engage with teams to ensure Deployment Designs are successfully deployed




  • Develop best practices for the deployment designs that translate to project plans




  • Continually improve deliverables as we scale and release new features/products




  • Inspect deliverables for success and improvements. 




  • Work with others to develop post-deployment documentation (run books, pre-deployment templates, etc.) 




  • Provide feedback to Implement Engineers, Systems Engineers, and engineering on ways to improve the overall experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 



  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve productivity, organisation, and effectiveness




  • 10+ years of professional IT experience




  • Experience highly desirable in the following areas:  




  • Backup Products: NetBackup




  • Compute&Virtualization (VMware,vSphere/vCenter, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, OpenShift)




  • Physical:Windows,Linux/Unix 




  • Databases: Oracle, SQL, MongoDB, SAP,




  • Storage: NAS, SAN, ObjectStorage,NFS, SMB, S3, Storage Performance Concepts




  • Networking: IP Planning, VLANs, Routing, Firewall rules, Load Balancing concepts, DNS, NTP, MTU, multisite networking concepts




  • Security: AD, LDAP, SSO, MGA, RBAC, least privilege access concepts, Key management, encryption,ransomwarerecovery principles




  • Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP, CloudArchival, Recovery Patterns, Hybrid Cloud




  • Data Protection, Data Security and Data Management  




  • Disaster Recovery/Business Continuance 




  • Database Protection and Recovery 




  • Scripting / Automation (Python, Ansible and ServiceNow) 




  • Excellent communication and project-related skills arerequired




  • Strong written skills and the ability to create documentation. 




  • Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills 




  • The ability to manage projects anddriveto a deadline.




  • Expected Travel:50%
