micro1 is engaging Physics Experts to contribute to a customer's project advancing AI technologies. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.


Scope of Work

  1. Evaluate and annotate scientific data, equations, and experimental findings related to various physics domains.
  2. Create and review problem sets, research summaries, and technical explanations for foundational and advanced physics concepts.
  3. Provide expert feedback on the accuracy and clarity of physics-related content intended for AI training purposes.
  4. Author or edit detailed reports, analytical write-ups, or experimental descriptions to guide AI reasoning and comprehension.
  5. Identify gaps in data quality or coverage and suggest improvements to ensure robust model development.
  6. Collaborate asynchronously with project managers and other subject-matter experts to deliver impactful input and meet key milestones.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. BSc, MSc, or PhD in Physics or a closely related discipline.
  2. Proven record of authoring research papers, experimental reports, or technical write-ups in physics.
  3. Strong grasp of classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and modern physics.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  5. Experience with data analysis, experimental design, or computational modeling in a physics context.
  6. Ability to articulate and simplify complex concepts for a range of audiences.
  7. Familiarity with collaborative projects and delivering work in a remote environment.
