Job Title: Robot Teleoperator


Job Type: Full-time


Location: On-site, US Only


The Role

Join our Robotics Operations team as a Robot Teleoperator, where you'll work alongside robotics engineers and AI researchers to generate high-quality demonstration data for next-generation embodied AI systems.


In this hands-on laboratory role, you'll directly operate state-of-the-art robotic manipulators and humanoid robots using advanced teleoperation interfaces, including leader-arm systems, VR headsets, motion controllers, and emerging human-machine interfaces.


What You'll Be Doing

  1. Operate robotic arms and humanoid robots using leader-arm systems, VR headsets, and handheld controllers.
  2. Execute structured manipulation tasks while producing consistent, high-quality demonstration data.
  3. Monitor data collection sessions and report hardware or software issues.
  4. Follow task protocols with precision and consistency.
  5. Adapt to new robotic platforms and teleoperation interfaces as systems evolve.
  6. Assist with workstation setup, camera positioning, and lab organization.


What We're Looking For

  1. Experience with VR systems (Meta Quest, Vision Pro, SteamVR, etc.) or similar motion-control technologies.
  2. Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
  3. Gaming experience requiring precise control (FPS, simulation, racing, VR, etc.) is a plus.
  4. Comfortable learning new hardware and control interfaces.
  5. Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate technical issues clearly.
  6. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work extended sessions using VR equipment.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with robotics, automation, or teleoperation systems.
  2. Comfortable working in a fast-paced R&D or AI robotics environment.
  3. Interest in robotics, AI, or human-robot interaction.
