About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic player to join our team as an HR Operations Lead. As an HR Operations Lead, you will be responsible for managing the HR operations team across Egypt, UAE, and KSA, consisting of two team members. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor legislation, and providing efficient and effective HR support to employees.

What you will do:


  • Team Management: Lead and manage the HR operations team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  •  HR Policy Development: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements. Ensure policies are communicated effectively to employees and provide guidance on policy interpretation and compliance.
  •  Compliance with Labor Legislation: Stay up-to-date with changes in labor legislation and employment regulations in the respective countries (Egypt, UAE, and KSA). Ensure HR practices and policies are compliant with local laws and regulations.
  • Employee Query Management: Address and resolve employees' HR-related inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner. Provide accurate information and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs. 
  • Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the HR team to develop, review, and administer compensation and benefits packages. Ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  •  Administration of Insurance Programs: Oversee the administration of health, life, and social insurance programs. Ensure accurate and timely enrollment, claims processing, and adherence to insurance policies.
  •  HR Transactions and Administration: Support the execution of HR transactions and administration processes, including payroll processing, benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and onboarding and offboarding activities. Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
  •  Employee Engagement and Company Events: Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to the planning and execution of company events. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a positive and engaging work environment.

Who are you.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations "Payroll & Personnel" including 1 + year in a senior/leading position, preferably in a startup or regional organization.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Egypt, UAE, and KSA.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of HR professionals.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on providing practical and effective solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive employee information.
  • Excellent English level.
