Main Responsibilities and Duties
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues, including but not limited to contract negotiations, employment matters, and regulatory compliance. Manage contract lifecycle from initiation to execution, including contract negotiation, drafting, and amendments. Prepare and review official letters, memoranda, and other written communications on behalf of the Company. Collaborate with external legal counsel as necessary on complex legal matters. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends. Participate in meetings, negotiations, and other legal proceedings as required. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Requirements
Skills and Competencies
Bachelor degree in Law or related field Admission to the lawyers bar in Iraq Minimum of three years of experience practicing law, preferably in a corporate or business environment. Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively, both orally and in writing. Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.* Experience working with cross-functional teams is a plus.
