Software Engineer

The Job – Software Engineer

What you'll be doing:

• Understanding business value of projects to be done and making sure technical solution is aligned with customer value
• Owning project delivery for important and complex projects that span multiple quarters
• Setting a high bar for engineering excellence and ensuring system quality does not dip
• Proactively thinks about how things could breakdown and prevents them
• Able to produce more technical scope than they consume, creating space for other engineers to grow
• Identify struggling teammates and offers help and coaching
• Working on improving the process of code deployment, and continuous integration, in addition to maintaining server infrastructure and security. 

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Proven track record of driving complex projects from inception to delivery
• Experience in leading other engineers through influence not authority
• Familiarity with IaaS/PaaS like Heroku, AWS or other
• Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus
