Key Responsibilities:Resource Oversight:- Lead, manage, and oversee a team of bookkeepers, accountants, finance assistants, and finance controllers.
- Ensure that the team delivers results in line with client requirements and expectations.
- Monitor individual and collective performance, providing guidance and support as needed.
Financial Expertise:- Utilize deep financial expertise to understand clients' needs and challenges in areas such as accounting, bookkeeping, Budgeting and Forecasting, Financial modeling, financial planning, and internal control development.
- Analyze clients' financial data and provide tailored solutions aligned with their objectives and long-term goals.
- Collaborate with the finance team to craft customized financial strategies that address unique client requirements.
Client Onboarding:- Oversee seamless onboarding for new clients, ensuring efficient transition to VASL's comprehensive financial services.
- Conduct consultations with new clients to grasp their financial operations and expectations.
- Coordinate internally to establish workflows and allocate resources for meeting client demands.
Customer Success Management:- Maintain regular communication with clients to gauge progress, address challenges, and ensure satisfaction with VASL's services.
- Identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities aligned with evolving client needs.
- Address concerns promptly, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention.
Collaboration and Improvement:- Foster a collaborative environment within sales and finance teams to ensure seamless coordination.
- Liaise with the finance team to convey client feedback and insights for service enhancement.
Requirements & Qualifications:- ACMA, ACCA, or CA finalist.
- Familiraity with US GaaP
- Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience with a focus on accounting, bookkeeping, financial planning, and internal controls (including 3 years at a reputable firm is a must)
- Extensive expertise in accounting softwares, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- QBO/Xero certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
