Credit Supervisor

A reputable company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled and experienced Credit Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in credit management or a related field. As a Credit Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit department and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of credit applications. You will also be responsible for managing the credit risk of the company and implementing strategies to minimize bad debt. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and process credit applications in a timely manner
2. Monitor credit limits and credit terms for customers
3. Analyze and assess credit risk of new and existing customers
4. Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures
5. Manage and resolve customer credit disputes and inquiries
6. Monitor and report on the aging of accounts receivable
7. Collaborate with sales and finance departments to optimize credit decisions
8. Develop and implement strategies to minimize bad debt
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in credit management
10. Provide training and guidance to credit department staff

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
2. Proven experience in credit management or a related role
3. Strong knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and regulations
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Attention to detail and accuracy
6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office and credit management software
9. Ability to lead and supervise a team
10. Knowledge of local market conditions and customer credit practices
