Development Manager

Currently recruiting for a Development Manager for this expanding gulf hotel group to be based within their regional offices in Riyadh, Saudi.
About the position:
Working closely with the Head of Development, the position will include all aspects of development in KSA including market research, sourcing & screening potential projects; overseeing the analysis of projects' potential; preparing contracts & attaining regulatory approvals.
Responsible for surfacing potential opportunities for growth by adding new businesses to the portfolio in the form of hotel new builds, conversions or rebrands mainly under franchised agreements or restaurants / retail or real estate opportunities - Supporting companies acquisition efforts from initial deal identification to final approval by the senior leadership Team & Board of Directors.
Requirements:
Fluency in oral & written English & Arabic is essential
Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in a Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance or hospitality discipline
Post graduate qualification or equivalent experience in property advisory or similar would be an advantage
Previous experience in a corporate environment within the preparation and negotiation of contracts is required
Previous experience in the negotiation or brokerage of franchising, real estate development and/or the hospitality / F&B / retail sector are advantageous
Experience of working in the hospitality industry at hotel or corporate level is advantageous.
