· Provide Expert level Support and Troubleshooting for Solaris and Linux OS, resolving complex technical issues and performing root cause Analysis.
· Install, configure and maintain Solaris and Linux OS on Physical and Virtual Servers.
· Performing root cause analysis of problems and major incidents.Provide workarounds to ensure business continuty and prepare RCA reports.
· Prepare implementation plan, rollback plan and test plan, risk and impact analysis of critical or complex changes.
· Experience in Administration and Troubleshooting in Oracle T-Series Servers and ZFS Storage.
· Vulnerabilities / PT points remediation
· Server hardening of Solaris and Linux Servers.
· Patch and package administration using Redhat satellite
· Experience in OS Up gradation, Patch management and kernel up gradation
· Experience in LDOM Administration.
· Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
· Expert in troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues
· Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
· Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
