Process Control Systems Specialist - SAUDI FEMALE ONLY
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Control Systems Specialist to join our team. As a Process Control Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of process control systems within our organization. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize process control systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the efficient and safe operation of our production processes.
Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and implement process control systems to optimize production processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operators to identify process control requirements and develop appropriate control strategies.
- Configure and program Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) to monitor and control process parameters.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of process control systems to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to process control systems, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation.
- Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and anomalies, and propose corrective actions to optimize process performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including control system specifications, operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to select and implement appropriate hardware and software solutions for process control systems.
- Provide training and support to operators and maintenance personnel on the operation and maintenance of process control systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process control systems.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process control systems design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
- Experience with process control software and tools, such as SCADA systems.
- Solid understanding of process control principles, including cascade control, feedback control, and advanced control strategies.
- Knowledge of process instrumentation and measurement devices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
