As a Financial Analyst and Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our company's financial management, working closely with our bookkeeping, chartered accountant partners, and tax authorities. You will oversee accounting activities, including tax management, conduct comprehensive financial analysis, and actively contribute to financial planning. Collaborating with our contracted accounting company and partners, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with relevant standards, efficient bookkeeping processes, and proper handling of tax-related matters. Additionally, you will be responsible for project cost analysis, collaborating with project managers to optimize financial performance. We seek a motivated individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, tax expertise, accounting knowledge, and project cost management abilities, who can effectively communicate with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


Accounting and Tax Management:               


  1. Collaborate with the contracted accounting company and bookkeeping partners to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  2. Review and verify financial entries and registrations for accuracy and completeness.
  3. Manage invoices, ensuring timely processing and proper documentation.
  4. Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  5. Coordinate with the chartered accountant to address financial compliance issues and regulatory requirements.
  6. Ensure compliance with withholding tax regulations and manage withholding tax processes.
  7. Raise and submit monthly and annual tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Collaborate with tax authorities, respond to tax-related inquiries or audits, and stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.

Financial Analysis and Planning:


  1. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including project cost analysis, to support decision-making processes.
  2. Collaborate with project managers to gather financial data, analyze project costs, and provide financial insights for optimizing financial performance.
  3. Engage in regular financial planning activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
  4. Analyze financial data and prepare reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  5. Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to optimize operational efficiency and drive profitability.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.


- Proven experience in accounting, financial analysis, tax management, project cost analysis, and planning roles.


- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and practices.


- Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems.


- Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.


- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, bookkeeping partners, tax authorities, project managers, and external partners.


- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
