Senior BIM Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BIM Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience, specifically in landscape projects. Gulf experience is preferred. As a Senior BIM Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the electrical design and modeling process using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, with a focus on landscape projects. You will work closely with the project team and clients to ensure accurate and efficient electrical design documentation and coordination for landscape projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement BIM standards and workflows for electrical design projects, with a specific focus on landscape projects.
2. Coordinate with project team members to gather electrical design requirements and specifications for landscape projects.
3. Create and maintain BIM models of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and irrigation systems for landscape projects.
4. Perform clash detection and coordination between electrical systems and other building disciplines for landscape projects.
5. Generate accurate electrical design documentation, including drawings, schedules, and specifications for landscape projects.
6. Review and analyze electrical design models for compliance with local codes and regulations for landscape projects.
7. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design conflicts and issues specific to landscape projects.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to junior BIM electrical engineers for landscape projects.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM software and electrical design technologies, with a focus on landscape projects.
10. Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of BIM models and documentation for landscape projects.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical design and modeling using BIM software, with a focus on landscape projects.
3. Gulf experience is preferred.
4. Proficient in using BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, with a focus on landscape projects.
5. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and codes, with a specific understanding of landscape electrical design requirements.
6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines for landscape projects.
10. Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred, with a focus on landscape projects.
