In LAN, how to overcome network cable failure, between two system?

For this purpose LAN Cable tester would be the best confirmation of cable connectivity

first the  cannect cable in pc then conform the connected cable properly connect or not and check the swicth light blink or not 

when cable is connected blinking of lights will not work.

First check the physical layer using cable tester , many testers displays what is wrong on network cable. you may also need to check the layer 2 properties (even if the question bounded the problem at physicval layer by stating network cable problem) layer 2 properties like layer 2 technologies used by each end system , layer 2 encapsulation method , speed and duplex

PING ON BOTH SYSTEMS WITH EACH OTHERS IP.

We just check the cable connection , Ip adress and network adpaters then we need to replaces the cable or devices

Replace the cable with a known good one pulled from different working machine.
