A private palace in Dubai, UAE is seeking a House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and management of the residence. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a maximum of 5 years of experience. The House Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the household, managing staff, coordinating events and functions, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the residence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and supervise all household staff, including butlers, housekeepers, chefs, and drivers.
  2. Oversee the daily operations of the residence, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  3. Coordinate and manage events and functions held within the residence, including parties, dinners, and social gatherings.
  4. Ensure the security and safety of the residence, implementing necessary security measures and protocols.
  5. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the residence, overseeing housekeeping duties and schedules.
  6. Manage household budgets and expenses, including purchasing supplies and managing vendor relationships.
  7. Act as the main point of contact for all household matters, liaising with contractors, suppliers, and other service providers.
  8. Handle any maintenance or repair issues that arise within the residence, coordinating with external contractors as needed.
  9. Ensure the comfort and satisfaction of the family members and guests residing in the residence, providing exceptional service and anticipating their needs.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times, respecting the privacy of the family members and guests.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Previous experience working as a House Manager in a private residence or luxury hospitality environment.
  2. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, family members, and guests.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle unexpected situations and emergencies.
  7. Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work long hours and weekends as required.
  8. Knowledge of luxury household operations and protocols.
  9. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  10. Valid driver's license.
