Description
Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for the infrastructure service delivery team, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement.Possess in-depth knowledge of on-premise data center operations, cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS), virtualization technologies, and automation tools.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including technology providers, other IT teams, and business units.Design and implement efficient operational processes for infrastructure systems, teams, and services, leveraging automation to streamline workflows.Continuously monitor and analyse infrastructure performance, establishing and measuring KPIs to ensure cost-effectiveness, reliability, and alignment with business needs.Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure-related challenges, providing expert guidance and solutions to the business.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 5+ years of experience in infrastructure manager role from a large hybrid set up (minimum of 200 rack data center)Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT environments including on-premise data centers and cloud platforms.Expertise in IBM Power Systems, mainframes, and the AIX operating system.Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks, ideally ITIL certified.Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, with a service delivery mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in scripting languages and automation tools.Must be based in the UAE.
