Marketing Manager responsibilities include assisting in organizing
campaigns and developing marketing strategies. This work will be a critical
factor for the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment
of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.
Marketing Manager assists the marketing team in daily marketing
activities. Supports the marketing director in carrying out various strategies
and tasks. Compiles, analyses, and reports marketing data. Helps maintain
distributor’s relationship.
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE
ROLE:
Works under the direction of a marketing director to help reach the
company's marketing goals and objectives.
Coordinate with the distributor’s sales and brand managers in developing
a marketing plan and budget.
Recommend creative and cost-effective promotional activities.
Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from
ideation to execution.
Coordinating with agencies to develop creative strategies and media
buying plans.
Understanding of developing and managing the corporate identity.
Conduct product displays and trade shows to promote brand awareness
among consumers.
Assist in designing and developing marketing collaterals and promotional
materials.
Maintain customer relationship programs and track customer satisfaction.
Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and
drive qualified traffic to our front door.
Generate sales and marketing reports to management.
Research market trends, demographics, pricing strategies, and other
relevant information that helps managers and directors develop marketing plans.
Creates graphs, reports, and detailed data analysis using computer
software.
Provides fact-checking, copy-editing, and formatting assistance while
creating mailers, brochures, website content, and other promotional materials.
Manage events hosted by the company's marketing department.
Updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation and
databases.
Evaluate the current marketing program and recommend improvements.
Stay updated with the latest marketing trends and competitor activities.
Responsible for planning and implementing sponsorship and partner
activities for the business, including general company sponsorship and partner
activity.
Responsible for the co-planning, development, and management of
sponsorship strategy (working with the marketing team) and for the day-to-day
management of sponsorship activity and activation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
A degree in marketing.
Proven experience of a minimum of 10 years in the marketing function and
5 years as a marketing manager in the automotive industry.
Minimum 3 years of experience in working with OEM.
Personable, presentable, and articulate.
Effective project management skills.
Sound understanding of marketing principles.
Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas.
Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
