Activity PAL

At CIPPO, our mission is to provide therapeutic services that are enjoyable, developmental, and inclusive for everyone involved, including children, parents, and our practitioners.
We believe in continuously digging deeper to better understand our culture and the needs of the market. We strive to identify what our culture lacks, what families are looking for, and what practitioners and potential candidates seek in terms of professional growth, learning, and development. Ultimately, we aim to elevate and break stigmas surrounding neurodiversity and different children's services.
Following our success in elevating the shadow teacher position to School Integration Teacher in 2017, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the "Activity PAL" position as part of our PALs Program, which we introduced just a month ago.
About the Job:
We envision the Activity PAL role as a game-changer in the realm of childcare. It offers a unique opportunity to go beyond traditional babysitting and truly make a difference in a child's life. We want to challenge the notion that spending time with children is solely about keeping them safe. It's about creating lasting memories, fostering development, and having a positive impact on their lives.
More Details about the Activity PAL Role:

1. An Activity PAL is an individual who enjoys spending time with neurotypical or neurodiverse children in various natural environments, making the time spent together fun, memorable, and developmental while ensuring their safety.
2. Working with one child per session, but open to working with multiple families.
3. Designing activities that focus on social-emotional learning, sensory skills, and numeracy.

An Ideal Activity PAL Would Be:

• Fluent in English.
• Responsible and reliable.
• Undergraduate or graduate, as long as there are excellent time management skills.
• Passionate about learning and actively engaging with children to have fun.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
