Digital Transformation Specialist

Your role



We're seeking a Digital Transformation Specialist for our People and Culture team. As Digital Transformation Specialist, you will be crucial in spearheading and executing digital transformation projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, agility, and innovation within the people and culture processes and systems.
Drawing on your proficiency in leading digital transformation: tech, processes, & change management expertise, you will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders, drive digital alignment, and optimize processes through innovation to create unique experiences only Tamara can provide.
With a proven track record of a strong foundation in service and operational excellence, coupled with sharp conceptual and analytical skills, and a basic understanding of software engineering principles, including exposure to Java, HTML, and SQL, and ultimately revolutionize the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank.

Your responsibilities



Assess current state and define future state:
Gain a comprehensive understanding of all people and culture systems and processes through documentation and collaboration with different stakeholders. Conduct assessments of current processes, systems, and technologies to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Define the desired future state architecture and roadmap for digital transformation. Collaborate with stakeholders to gain buy-in and alignment on transformation goals and objectives.
Lead and implement digital transformation initiatives:
Develop and execute digital transformation projects aligned with business objectives. Identify opportunities to leverage digital technologies to streamline processes, improve employee experience, and drive growth. Champion a culture of innovation and digital readiness within the organization. Lead the selection and implementation of digital technologies and platforms. Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to design and deploy innovative solutions that meet business needs. Ensure integration and alignment of digital solutions with existing systems and processes.
Measure and optimize performance:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of digital transformation initiatives. Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for optimization and continuous improvement. Make recommendations for adjustments to digital strategies and initiatives based on performance insights.
Change Management:
Identify and involve stakeholders at all levels, communicating the reasons for change and addressing their concerns to gain buy-in and support. Develop clear and consistent communication plans to inform stakeholders about the changes, their impacts, and the benefits they bring. Provide relevant training and development opportunities to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to new processes and technologies. Address resistance to change proactively by acknowledging concerns, involving resistant individuals in the change process, and celebrating successes to maintain momentum.

Your expertise



Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field. Digital and lean transformation mindset. System design thinking and technical knowledge/skill to automate the day to day job and processes. Good understanding of service and operational excellence. Strong conceptual and analytical skills. Understanding of the basics of Software engineering and basic experience with (Java, HTML, SQL ). Experience with Zendesk/Servicenow implementation is a plus.
