About the job E-commerce Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to take charge in overseeing and managing the operations and performance of an e-commerce platform or website. They play a crucial role in driving online sales, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring the smooth functioning of various e-commerce services.


         Responsibilities:


  •  Develop and implement e-commerce strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Identify opportunities to grow online sales and improve customer engagement.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform or website, ensuring functionality, responsiveness, and user experience meet or exceed industry standards. Collaborate with web developers, designers, and content creators to enhance website performance.
  • Coordinate with product managers and vendors to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information, pricing, and availability on the e-commerce platform. Optimize product listings for search engine visibility and conversion.
  • Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth. Implement strategies to increase conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
  •  Ensure secure and reliable payment processing systems are in place, complying with industry standards and regulations. Monitor and resolve any issues related to payment gateways, fraud prevention, and customer data security.
  • Continuously improve the online shopping experience by optimizing website navigation, search functionality, checkout process, and post-purchase support. Address customer feedback and complaints promptly and effectively.
  •  Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure accurate stock levels, timely order fulfillment, and efficient logistics operations. Implement inventory replenishment strategies to avoid stock-outs and minimize excess inventory.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to e-commerce operations, including sales, conversion rates, website traffic, customer acquisition, and customer satisfaction. Prepare regular reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Manage a team of e-commerce professionals, including web developers, content creators, and customer support representatives. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure the team's success.
  • Stay updated on the latest e-commerce industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, and strategies to enhance e-commerce operations.
    
    Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, e-commerce, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of not less than 5 years in e-commerce management in a services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and online marketing strategies and Sales.
  • GCC market experience is a must.
  • Familiarity with website analytics tools, SEO practices, and digital marketing channels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving sales and achieving targets.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of e-commerce regulations, data privacy, and security standards.
