Job Description
A Mechanical Site Engineer in water and wastewater projects oversees all related site activities, ensuring electromechanical projects are completed successfully. They supervise installation, conduct surveys and tests, and prepare reports. Collaborating closely with project teams and managers, they ensure timely, accurate completion according to specifications. They also ensure procedural adherence, accurate documentation, and conduct team awareness sessions to enhance overall efficiency.
- Responsible for all site activities in water and wastewater projects.
- Supervise the installation of electromechanical projects.
- Site survey and testing for electromechanical activities.
- Prepare Project Progress Reports and time sheets; submit to the project manager and construction manager.
- Prepare descriptive technical reports on occurring problems.
- Follow up work progress with projects teams, up to handing over to the end user.
- Prepare the site survey report and ensure report submitting to services manager/pm.
- Ensure procedures are followed and specified steps taken.
- Produce reports, proposals, technical documentation, and user guides as required; ensure team knowledge is up to date.
