Performance Test specialist

Job Description:

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing performance tests for our software applications, systems, and networks. The Performance Test Specialist will work closely with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve the overall performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop performance test plans and test cases based on project requirements and application behavior.
• Implement performance test scripts using performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar tools.
• Execute performance tests and analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
• Provide recommendations for performance tuning and optimization based on test results.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure performance requirements are met.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in performance testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certifications in performance testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester) are a plus.
