Photo Retoucher

Our client is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Photo Retoucher to join their team. This role focuses on retouching images for both print and digital media across their portfolio of brands, with a strong portfolio, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-end retouching, color matching, and compositing for a high volume of assigned product or product and lifestyle images for print, web, and social media.

  
  

• Collaborate with multiple department team members to fulfill image edit requests while following creative direction to achieve high-quality photos.

  
  

• Manage multiple projects efficiently without compromising overall image quality, keep project tracking tools updated, and respond quickly to feedback and comments to ensure projects remain on schedule.

  
  

• Maintain a high standard of asset organization for the images across all our brands, including organizing, resizing, and renaming image files, adhering to file name conventions, archiving images, and handling retrieval requests from team members.

  
  

Qualifications:

• Possess 3-5 years of professional retouching experience.

  
  

• Possesses expert knowledge of Capture One photo editing software and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), including layers, masks, paths, color correction, cloning/healing, dodging/burning, actions, and non-destructive workflow.

  
  

• Must have experience in color grading and skin retouching.

  
  

• A portfolio of current work that demonstrates photo retouching skills, preferably with eCommerce and lifestyle photography examples.

  
  

• Possess strong visual sensibility and meticulous attention to detail.

  
  

• Able to follow creative direction to ensure assets are on-brand with photo guidelines.

  
  

• Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects quickly without sacrificing overall image quality.

  
  

• Self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

  
  

• Possess excellent communication, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills in English.

  
  

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience working with eCommerce companies.

  
  

• Familiarity with productivity tools such as Asana, Google Suite, and Slack.
