Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Procurement Engineer to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team of Engineers.

Role Summary:


You will be responsible for Procuring Project materials as allocated by the Procurement Manager or Project Manager and ensure materials are delivered as per the Project Procurement Plan requirements (Time, Cost, Quality).


What you will need to do:


  • You'll be based in a site and working under the direction of the regional Procurement Manager.
  • Ensure that all Supplier Pre-Assessment is done in compliance with the Company's procedure.
  • Coordinate with all relevant in-house departments to ensure all requirements are included in the bidding documents.
  • Maintain the Project Procurement Plan up to date.
  • Have a close interface with the technical responsible and lead all technical / commercial / contractual clarifications with the suppliers.
  • Perform commercial and contractual analysis, schedule evaluation of bids and incorporate technical evaluation from Engineering/Project Control or E/M, QA, QC & HSE.
  • Finalize the Comparison Statement (CS) and make recommendations only for technically acceptable solutions. 

What you will need to have:


  • BSC Engineering University degree in relevant field (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or Instrumentation).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Procurement Engineer.
  • Good knowledge of ERP software and MS office.
  • Previous experience in Construction or/and Energy sector.
  • Professional working proficiency (written and oral) of English language
