JOB OBJECTIVE:



Tactical Buyer is involved in the transactional procurement process of PR/PO (Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order). Also responsible for transforming a PR into a PO using the different elements coming from category buyers, in a time frame (SLA) and to follow up the PO. The Tactical Buyer may periodically be required to expedite and follow-up on purchase orders to ensure specific timing and quality requirements are met, including post award responsibility for supplier deliveries. Tactical buyer is in charge of managing the conversion of Purchasing Requisition into Purchasing Orders towards the supplier selected by the Category Buyer. follow up the execution of the Purchasing Order and check that it is done in accordance with all conditions defined in the contractual agreement. Report all the commitments on SAP for MEA region (Qatar, Dubai, Egypt, SA, Morocco) on monthly basis.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



Receive procurement requests and verifying their conformity to operating methods. Transform procurement requests into procurement orders. PO follow-up deliveries / GSR PO data check /accuracy Manage purchasing order cancellation, rescheduling or PO information change (quantity, price). Analysis of quotations and summarization for category buyers. Make sure that suppliers acknowledge P.O. receipt and provide delivery commitment. Follow-up and expediting of purchase orders. Ensure accuracy of the order, GL account, or project number, ship to location, supplier information on purchase order, and relevant notes/comments on the purchase order document. Manage disputes and problem solution. Manage local negotiations within the DoA threshold. RFx management in e-ACQ under DoA. Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis. Extract the commitment from SAP from MEA region Convert the report to a specific format Upload the report on Eacq before the Global review date. As Local admin, he will be responsible in the approval and validation cycle of the suppliers created by the Category Buyer on Eacq.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:



3 to 5 years of purchasing experience. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer Familiarity with Procurement processes, RFP/RFQ, negotiation, contracting. SAP experience preferred, with particular attention to Contracts and Procure to Pay

QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:



Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or marketing.
