Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for aSAP ABAP Developer  for one of our partners, a global leader in the chemical industry field.
Job Summary:
The ABAP Developer plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within the SAP environment. They collaborate closely with product owner and functional team to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable ABAP code. Additionally, the developer troubleshoots technical issues, optimizes existing programs, and ensures the overall stability and performance of SAP applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance SAP custom programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (WRICEF objects) using ABAP programming language.
• Collaborate with product owner and functional teams to analyze business requirements and design technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of developed WRICEF solutions.
• Optimize existing ABAP code and performance-tune SAP applications to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to product owner and functional teams, troubleshooting issues and resolving technical challenges.
• Stay updated on SAP technologies and best practices, implementing new features and functionalities as needed.
• Document development activities, technical specifications, and user guides for WRICEF objects to facilitate knowledge transfer and compliance with standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in ABAP development within the SAP ecosystem.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming language, including ABAP Objects, SAP enhancements, and development of RICEFW objects.
• Knowledge of SAP modules and business processes.
• Basic knowledge of ITIL or similar support frameworks is advantageous
• Demonstrates mastery in ABAP programming language, encompassing ABAP Objects, SAP enhancements, and development of RICEFW objects.
• Proficient in ABAP programming, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
