Senior BIM Mechanical Engineer/ Alexandria

Kemet Corporation for BIM Engineering is urgently looking for  " Sr. BIM Mechanical Engineer" to be a part of their team. 
Job Duties:
 - Creating 2D drawings and 3D models from BIM data.
 - Assisting in the coordination of BIM models with other building systems and trades
 - Conducting basic clash detection to identify and report conflicts between different building systems.
 - Collaborating with senior BIM staff and project teams to ensure BIM models are accurate and up-to-date.
 - Providing technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM-related issues.
 - Participating in the development of proposals and bids for new projects.
 - Assisting in the preparation of quantity takeoffs and material schedules from BIM models.
 - Staying up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends.
 - Assisting in the implementation of BIM standards and processes within the organization.
 - Assisting in the development and maintenance of BIM models for construction projects.
Required Skills:
 - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering  
 - From 5 to 8 years of experience.
 - Strong experience in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC , Plumbing and Fire Fighting).
 - Very good experience in Revit & Navisworks is a must.
 - Design validation and calculation experience.
 - Clash detection and coordination experience.
 - Shop drawing experience in multiple projects.
 - Create and manage BIM families is a must.
 - Very good knowledge in BIM workflows & Managing various 3D disciplines model.
 - Knowledge in Preparing RFIs & Technical reports.
 - Construction industry background is preferred.
