As a Surgical Account Manager, you'll play a vital role in promoting and managing the sales of ophthalmic surgery consumables and equipment in your designated territory. You'll collaborate with healthcare professionals, build strong relationships, and drive sales to achieve annual targets.


A Day in the Life:


  • Collaborating with ophthalmic surgeons and healthcare professionals to understand their needs and challenges
  • Promoting cataract consumables, IOLs, and surgical equipment to generate leads and drive sales in your region
  • Managing and developing relationships with existing customers to achieve sales targets
  • Identifying opportunities for surgical equipment sales and maintaining leads using CRM tools
  • Developing action plans to meet financial targets, including conducting product demos and supporting marketing activities
  • Planning and conducting account visits based on customer segmentation and visit frequency guidelines
  • Reporting complaints and adverse events in accordance with company SOPs

What You'll Bring to Alcon:


  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science or Biomedical Engineer
  • Years of Experience: a minimum of 1-2y in the ophthalmology or med device field
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in sales techniques, CRM tools, and product knowledge in ophthalmic surgery
  • Behaviors: Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adherence to SOPs and compliance regulations
