about the role



The Unified Communications Project Manager, as a key member of the ESC service Build team, holds a position of authority and is responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion. This role entails full end-to-end accountability for delivering and ensuring control over results, timelines, resources, and quality for all Voice and Video orders, including Contact Center, Business Talk, Audio Conference, FCC, B2GMS, B2GasS, BTOI, LVS, WTW DI/MT, OVP, and telepresence projects. The UC PM leads single large projects or multiple voice and video orders, taking responsibility for achieving agreed goals and objectives. They possess a strong understanding of the customers' industry and a broad knowledge of Voice capabilities and products provided by Orange Business Services. Additionally, the UC PM is accountable for managing all functions within the Quote To Bill chain, primarily involved in the early stages of the process, such as the internal Service Transition kick-off meeting and customer kick-off meeting, to ensure the target delivery date is appropriately set.

Job Duties:



Verify the scope of each request and validate the prerequisites. Ensure that the design is validated and reviewed. Coordinate the delivery chain, including NS chain for Business Talk over IP. Request the necessary resources for each project. Monitor the hardware ordering and delivery process. Coordinate configuration tasks as required. Organize Acceptance Tests, Customer AT, and Go-live processes, if applicable. Configure the Orange gatekeeper directly for standard orders. Oversee SAT (Site Acceptance Tests), set up the RFS (Ready for Service), and send the SCN (Service Change Notification) to the customer. Hand over completed projects to the operations team. Maintain effective communication with customers regarding the progress of Voice orders.

about you



Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical field such as Telecommunications, Networking, etc. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP or Prince 2 Certificate is a significant advantage). Agile mindset and familiarity with Agile project management. Synergy PM awareness. Customer service and telecommunications experience is highly desirable. Customer-centric orientation. Ability to work flexibly with different cultures and hours, and to collaborate effectively as a team player. Excellent communication, leadership, prioritization, and balancing skills. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, as well as strong planning skills. Excellent knowledge of Voice Services and Protocols, as well as LAN and WAN solutions. Fluent in English. French language skills are not mandatory but are considered a plus.
