About the Department


Finance GBS in the Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore was established in 2007 and is responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analytics for various parts of the Novo Nordisk organization worldwide. You will be part of the Sourcing & Analytics team which is part of the Source-to-Contract department in GBS Bangalore. This team is responsible for delivering and supporting global sourcing and category managers with e.g. market research & analyses, supplier management, etc. Besides being part of the GBS Bangalore Sourcing & Analytics team, you will be part of the Strategic Sourcing team which is based in the Headquarters (Denmark). Strategic Sourcing is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division and is responsible for long-term sourcing strategies of raw materials, items, products, and services used by the Supply Chain worldwide.


The Position

This position will involve category strategy development and review for logistics and distribution spend and managing multiple strategic and tactical sourcing projects for the logistics and distribution spend categories along with liaising with stakeholders to understand the requirements and to create the RFx documents accordingly.  As an Advanced Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will also be involved in :


  • Managing RFI/RFP/RFQ with close coordination with business and procurement stakeholders.
  • Utilizing Coupa CSO to deliver effective and efficient RFx outcomes. Conducting detailed bid analysis to assess the factors driving price variations.
  • Leading the supplier negotiation efforts to achieve optimum spend value along with proficiency in spend analysis and dashboards creation.
  • Market research to identify best-in-class suppliers, industry trends and procurement best practices and also identifying sourcing opportunities based on spend data and market dynamics.
  • Prepare commodities and indices tracker to support stakeholders for negotiations along with reviewing the contracts and establish best-in-class KPIs, SLAs and provisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university, MBA preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in managing logistics and distributions related spend categories.
  • Hands on experience in managing strategic sourcing projects for ground transportations.
  • 8-10 years of experience in source-to-contract.
  • Experience in Coupa CSO with knowledge of creating RFx templates.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Strategic sourcing, procurement intelligence, spend analytic, negotiations.
