The Opportunity:
As an AEM in the Cloud Architect/Senior Developer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing high-quality digital experiences for our users. Your primary focus will be on leveraging Adobe Experience Manager in the Cloud, integrating with Next.js for front-end development, and employing headless CMS principles to ensure flexibility and scalability across digital platforms.


Duties/responsibilities
  • Design and implement AEM in the Cloud architecture, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.


  • Develop and customize AEM components, templates, workflows, and services based on project requirements.


  • Integrate AEM with Next.js for building highly responsive, server-side rendered web applications.


  • Employ headless CMS concepts to deliver content across multiple channels, ensuring a consistent and engaging user experience.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.


  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.


  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AEM, Next.js, and headless CMS implementations.


Minimum qualifications/skills
  • ​Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


  • 8+ years of experience in software development


  • Proven experience as an AEM Architect/Senior Developer with a strong portfolio of successful AEM in the Cloud implementations.


  • Expertise in Next.js and React, with a deep understanding of server-side rendering and static site generation.


  • Experience with headless CMS architecture and API-driven content delivery.


  • Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful services.


  • Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployment.


  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and deliver innovative solutions.


  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.


Preferred qualifications/skills


  • Next.js Architecture with server-side experience included


  • MarTech platform experience


  • Cloud based RDBMS experience

Physical and Mental Requirements


Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards. Sedentary work. Repetitive work. 


Ability to perform tasks related to documentation, data analysis, transcription and extensive content analysis. Learn new tasks, remember processes, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow.
