About this Opportunity:


Millerknoll Global Creative Studio is looking for a Digital Production Designer (Bangalore) to join our team. The Digital Production Designer (Bangalore) will work to provide best-in-class designs using established style guides to bring the MillerKnoll retail brands to life. You will work across brands and various channels to aiding in the production of ecommerce site updates, relaunches, email campaigns, organic social, paid digital ads, and international versioning. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment and must have an unrelenting positive spirit and "can-do" attitude. This role Matrix reports to the Director, Global Creative Studio– Retail (US based), and Team Lead / IT Manger (India).


Essential Functions:


• Staging and scheduling approved content on site CMS (Salesforce Commerce Cloud)


• Staging email content on ESP platform (Zeta), linking, testing


• Intake of final design projects from designers and exporting assets for distribution to various teams


• Support Creative Studio team in Figma on promotional/non-promotional campaign design as needed; Mocking, routing, staging select landing pages or digital ads for various sales and campaigns


• Performing unit testing and QA of websites in staging environment and post campaign launch


• Maintain and suggest refinements to production workflows and processes across brands


• Responsible for working with designers and ecommerce team to update all web site images with new imagery as directed.


• Aid in upcoming website relaunches; Design using provided templates, flagging images for upload, staging approved designs and reporting on completion status


• Aid Digital Asset Management team by uploading and tagging images on DAM library as needed


• Aiding ecommerce team on website change requests for promotions, image swaps, or copy changes


• Auditing for errors and fixing issues identified by design teams, Ecommerce team, Email Marketing team


• Submitting improvement tickets and working with digital UX/UI team on changes to templates in Figma or on CMS


• Preparing images in Photoshop as needed- cropping, scaling, ordering, optimizing, naming etc. Resizing and retouching where necessary


Ideal Candidate


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working in web or related field.


• 2-3 years of experience in the essential functions listed above.


• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.


• Excellent understanding of Photoshop and basic image editing principles. Color correction a plus.


• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage a large amount of assets internally and on CMS.


• Strong attention to detail with an eye for good design that is on brand.


• Active engagement with current web standards, tech, trends, formats, and styles.


• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and basic coding skills.


• Familiarity with digital asset bank tool like Bynder and any CMS tools like AEM, Salesforce, etc.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, with excellent time management skills.


• Ability to take direction, constructive criticism and to work within specified deadlines.


• Adhere to process and procedures defined for the role, the team, and the organization.


• Previous experience within a retail sale driven environment a plus.


• Flexible hours to overlap with Eastern Time Zone.


• Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal and external business partners


Reporting structure


• Locally reporting to Team lead and IT manager in India


• Matrix reporting to WTL (Director, Global Creative Studio—Retail) in US
