Job Details:Job Description: The Intel Audio open-source Linux validation team is looking for skilled software validation engineers to join a growing and high energy team and contribute in an Open-Source environment. As the validation Engineer, you will be performing validation duties that may span the entire Audio Linux OS stack. You will research requirements, write and execute test cases, write automation scripts, create and report on quality metrics, and collaborate closely with Open-Source Audio maintainers.
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics/others with 9+ years of experience or Masters degree in any domain with 6+ years of experience in validation.
- Experience in validation of Linux kernel mode modules. Audio domain validation is preferrable. - Experience with Linux scripting such as Python, shell script
- Experience with a variety of tools including Jenkins, BuildBot, JIRA, and Git/Gerrit-
- Skilled in git patch manipulation and rebasing
- Experience submitting patches, reviewing patches, submitting bug and writing convincing arguments to patches or bugs desired.
- Ability to review logs, and take appropriate corrective action, providing root cause analysis
- Ability to assist in writing or maintaining documentation
- Working knowledge of Wiki pages
- Rapid ramping and learning of new technologies or components

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
